Gonzo’s Quest Slot Game Review

Facts and Figures

Certified Payout Percentage – When it comes to playing a new NetEnt slot online, one of the main things you’ll want to look out for is how high the RTP (Return to Player) is. Obviously you’ll never find one at 100%, as that would mean you can’t lose. However, the closer it is to 100% the better your chances are of winning. Gonzo’s Quest has a highly respectable 96% RTP, which even by NetEnt’s generous standards is good!

Stake Levels – Gonzo’s Quest has been designed to offer you as the player maximum entertainment, but for a price that’s right for you. Unlike most slots, due to the way this one plays, you cannot pick the lines you play, however, a bit like an always slots you pay a set amount for all of the lines regardless.

These range from a minimum stake of just 0.20 and go all the way up to a high rolling 50.00. So whatever your playing style and budget there is going to be a stake level just right for you.

Jackpot Payout – The jackpot on Gonzo’s Quest is 2500 coins, won when you spin onto on one of your win line’s 5 Platinum Mask symbols. You should be aware however that this slot is a free fall, or avalanche slot, which means that any wins made will disappear and the symbols drop down to create additional combinations. Therefore it’s probably not a favourite among fans of classic slots and more traditional games.

The more additional winning combinations you create, the higher your multiplier, so if for example you have 3 wins and then hit the big one, you’ll win 12,500 coins (2500 x 5 = 12,500)!

Standard Reel Symbols – Gonzo’s quest has some fairly hard to describe symbols (they’re all faces on tiles!), however, don’t hesitate to take a look at the pay table. From the highest to the lowest paying, the symbols in play are; the Platinum Mask, Emerald Mask, Gold Mask, Purple Mask, Orange Mask, Red Mask, Blue Mask.

Scatter and Bonus Symbols – There are no scatters as such on Gonzo’s Quest slot however there is a Free Fall symbol, which is a solid gold tile with an Aztec God embossed on it. Three of these appearing on three consecutive reels will trigger the free fall round.

Wild Symbols – The wild symbol is a silver tile with a question mark (?) engraved into it in gold, this will substitute for all symbols including the free fall symbols, making it a highly powerful symbol when it comes to getting the decent wins.

Bonus Features and Bonus Games

Free Spins – As mentioned above, this slot has a variant of free spins, called free falls, they essentially work and are triggered like every other free spins round you’ll have come across, except any win you make will disappear, and the tiles will drop down to hopefully give you more wins.

During the free fall round, all wins start at a x3 multiplier, if you make a series of wins in the same spin the multiplier will go up from x3 to x6 to x9 and finally to a massive x15. Note however, that the only way to up the multiplier is to win consecutively in the same spin after the free fall.

Bonus Game – As the entire slot has cascading reels, or Avalanche multipliers, the base game itself is like a bonus game, and as such, there is no bonus game other than the free falls round.

Gamble Game – There is no gamble win feature on Gonzo’s Quest, this is partly due to this type of game no longer being deemed required to add to the entertainment value, and also that the vast majority of players choose to not gamble their wins.
