More good news for US online casino fans, with the announcement that Evolution Gaming has signed a deal to supply operator Betway with live casino and first person RNG-based games in the American market.
Evolution and Betway have a long history of cooperation together, with Betway brands in Europe being among the first to feature new releases from Evolution.
In the US, Betway currently holds licenses to operate in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where it offers slot titles from NetEnt, a subsidiary of Evolution. The recent agreement will allow Betway to offer a fuller set of Evolution’s games, including the brand's live dealer titles.
US casino fans have shown strong interest in the live casino vertical since operators began rolling it out across each state. In fact, the introduction of live dealer titles such as Immersive Roulette was partly responsible for July’s record gaming numbers in the state of Michigan.
Jeff Millar, Evolution’s North America commercial director for, said of the agreement: “Our US roll-out continues at pace and, once again, we are delighted to be working with a brand with which we have already built an extremely strong and close relationship in other markets”.
Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway, added: "Betway customers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be able to enjoy playing our world-class, Evolution-powered online casino games in their homes and while on the move. Having worked with Evolution for many years, we are confident that players in New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be very excited indeed by our US-focused online games offered in a fair, safe, secure and responsible environment."
Which of Evolution’s live dealer games does this agreement cover?
It covers pretty much all of Evolution’s product offering. This includes several varieties of live roulette, live blackjack, live poker variants such as Casino Hold ‘Em, and live baccarat.
The deal also encompasses Evolution’s innovative first person RNG games, such as Dream Catcher (an Evolution-branded ‘wheel of fortune’ style game, and Mega Ball.
It’s certainly encouraging to see more US licensed casinos offering live dealer games from the award-winning Evolution brand. This allows them to better compete with the offshore operators which have long offered inferior copies of these games.
The lack of live casino action was the only flaw in Betway’s US casino offering. With the addition of live dealer titles, Betway will rank among the top online casinos available to NJ and PA residents, thanks to their excellent welcome bonus of 100% up to £1000.
